Pinaceae

Family of coniferous trees containing nearly 200 species in nine genera (Abies, Cedrus, Keteleeria, Larix, Picea, Pinus, Pseudolarix, Pseudotsuga, and Tsuga). The Pinaceae are mostly evergreen and are mainly found in temperate regions. Most are important timber trees, other products include resins, turpentine, and edible seeds.
