Having a countable number of elements, the opposite of infinite.

finite

In grammar, a verb that has a subject by which it is limited by tense, number, and person; for example is is singular, and worked is past tense. The infinitive forms (to be, to work) and participles and gerunds (being, working) are non-finite; they are not bounded by time or number.
