Opera by Mozart (libretto by M Coltellini), composed for Vienna in 1768, but not performed there; it was first produced in Salzburg, Austria, on 1 May 1769. In the story, Fracasso and Simone marry Giacinta and Ninetta, as Giacinta's brothers fall for the Baroness Rosina, sister of Fracasso.
