FloraIn Roman mythology, the goddess of flowers, youth, and spring. Her festival, the Floralia, instituted in 238 BC, was initially celebrated at irregular intervals but became annual from 173 BC. It lasted from 28 April to 3 May and included licentious staged exhibitions.
