forget-me-not

Any marsh plant of the genus Myosotis of the borage family. These plants have hairy leaves; bear clusters of small blue, white, or red flowers; and are considered a symbol of fidelity and friendship. The European true forget-me-not Myosotis scorpioides, 12–28 in/30–70 cm in height, now grows widely in North America.
