Frisbee

Trademark for a platter-shaped, concave disc, used for toss-and-catch games. Thrown with a flick of the wrist, Frisbees spin and sail. They are primarily for recreation or fun, but championships are held in the USA under the auspices of the World Flying Disc Federation. Frisbees were introduced in the USA in the late 1950s.
