goal

In business, the aim of a company, individual, or group. Such an objective provides focus for the individual or company. For example, the goal of a company may be to maximize profits, while the goal of a worker may be to maximize earnings. Goals should be realistic and achievable, unlike a corporate vision, which should be an unattainable but desirable outcome.
