gourmand syndrome

In psychiatry, obsessive disorder in which the sufferer thinks constantly of fine foods. It is an obsessive disorder rather than an eating disorder, as its symptoms also include obsessive talking and writing about gourmet foods, as well as consuming them. It can be triggered by a lesion in the right anterior brain.
