The problems of information overload from the growth of scholarly literature, and the need to use information technology to manage them, were identified by major writers and scientists over 50 years ago. The recent IABC Research Foundation report Preparing Message, for Information Overload Environments, however, looks at it from the sender's side, and examines his or her role in reducing information overload for recipients. |
