jumper (clothing)

    0.06 sec.

jumper

Long-sleeved woollen top reaching to the waist or below. During the 1940s short waist-length designs were popular, often worn as part of two- or three-piece outfits. In the 1950s looser and longer jumpers became popular. Today jumpers of all shapes and sizes are mass produced, often in bright colours and with bold designs.
