Sinquefield is examining new techniques for eliminating the energy-intensive lime kiln from the pulping process. The borough's lime kilns, deemed the most historically significant in the Mid-Atlantic, are on the two acres. The tower is flanked by two wings facing up and down stream and decreasing in height from seven to three storeys as they reach inland, along Lime Kiln Dock on the west and the site boundary on the east. |
