local agreement

    0.05 sec.

local agreement

In pay bargaining, a deal reached between workers, perhaps represented by trade unions, and employers at a local level rather than a national level. The deal should reflect conditions in the local labour market. For example, in London, where living costs are higher, pay deals may lead to wage levels above those in most of the rest of the country.
