volume

In geometry, the space occupied by a three-dimensional (3D) solid object. A prism such as a cube, cuboid, or a cylinder has a volume equal to the area of the base multiplied by the height. For a pyramid or cone, the volume is equal to one-third of the area of the base multiplied by the perpendicular height. The volume of a sphere is equal to 4/3 × πr3, where r is the radius. Volumes of irregular solids may be calculated by the technique of integration.

There was no significant difference in hematocrit (Hct) (%), red distribution width (RDW) (%), and in mean corpuscular volume (MCV) (fl) at all MTBE concentrations (1,000, 1,500, 2,000, and 2,500 ppm) in treated animals (Table 4).
Hb was 12 g/dL, HCt 32%, mean corpuscular volume 84, leukocyte count 280x[10.
For example, low mean corpuscular volume may signify either iron deficiency or a hemoglobinopathy, whereas high MCV may suggest cold agglutinins, vitamin B[sub.
