In computing, the collective name for materials on which data can be recorded. For example, paper is a medium that can be used to record printed data; a floppy disk is a medium for recording magnetic data.

media

Means of communication; the mass media comprise the broadcast media of radio and television, and the print media of newspapers and magazines. The study of means of communication is known as media studies.

Media

Borough in Delaware County, southeastern Pennsylvania, 24 km/15 mi west-southwest of Philadelphia; population (1990) 6,000. A producer of plastics and pork products, it now also houses banking and insurance operations.
