Moniliasis - usually occurs in the skin and mucous membranes of the mouth, respiratory tract, or vagina but may invade the bloodstream.
Candida - monilia, moniliasis, yeast, the whites, leucorrhea - is characterized by a thick, white, yeasty-smelling, lumpy, vaginal discharge which is highly irritating to the vulva.
She had a cottony, sticky exudate in her throat that could only be a yeast infection, known medically as moniliasis or candidiasis and to the laity as thrush.
