netiquette

Internet etiquette formed through common usage. Guides to correct conduct can be found on the Internet. Newsgroup sites often have guides to netiquette; they prescribe guidelines for best practice when contributing to discussions. The rules of netiquette include: no messages typed in upper case (considered to be the equivalent of shouting); new users, or new members of a newsgroup, should read the frequently asked questions (FAQ) file before asking a question; and no advertising using Usenet newsgroups. While there is no official netiquette enforcement, fellow users tend to police the net fairly effectively, censuring those who cross the boundaries of acceptable behaviour.

there is a netiquette involved, and if one wants to prove worthy of being on that particular business networking site he should prove that he can abide to those particular rules Business networking sites are a great way to connect with people that have similar businesses to yours, it is an easy way to learn of how they got through their rough times, and maybe even go as far as make joint businesses if you feel that the person and the timing is right.
