Offer

Acronym for Office of Electricity Regulation, former regulatory body established under the Electricity Act 1989 to supervise the privatized UK electricity companies. In 1999 it merged with the Office of Gas Supply to form the Office of Gas and Electricity Markets (Ofgem).
