Another name for the leopard.

Panther

In World War II, German medium tank devised as an answer to the Soviet T-34.

Armed with a long 75 mm gun and notable for its interleaved road wheel suspension, it was rushed into production November 1942 and so early models were unreliable, but it soon acquired a formidable reputation. It weighed 44 tons, had a top speed of 55 kph/34 mph, and a crew of five.
