particle board

Board manufactured by gluing small flakes or pieces of timber together under pressure. Chipboard is perhaps the best known, but other examples include flakeboard (used to board up damaged windows and doorways) and waferboard.

Particle board may be covered in a plastic veneer and used for specialist surfaces.

Particle board is made of sawdust and small wood chips that are mixed with glue and resin which is then shaped and pressure treated.
It has a drawer with flip-down front on metal gliders, an adjustable shelf and a solid oak frame with veneered particle board and MDF panels.
