pionIn physics, a subatomic particle with a neutral form (mass 135 MeV) and a charged form (mass 139 MeV). The charged pion decays into muons and neutrinos and the neutral form decays into gamma-ray photons. They belong to the hadron class of elementary particles, and consist of pairs of quarks. The mass of a charged pion is 273 times that of an electron; the mass of a neutral pion is 264 times that of an electron. How to thank TFD for its existence?
