pollack![]() Pollack, Pollachius pollachius, are members of the cod family. Widely distributed in waters from the northern Mediterranean to the Atlantic as far north as Iceland, they are still plentiful in the English Channel off the coasts of Devon and Cornwall, where the traditional method of handline fishing is often used to catch them.
