Company that only conducts its business over the Internet. Examples of Internet pureplays are eBay, Yahoo!, and E∗trade. Pureplays contrast with companies that transact business on the Internet and through more conventional means, called clicks and mortar companies, and companies that do not transact business over the Internet, known as bricks and mortar companies.
