quasi-atom

Particle assemblage resembling an atom, in which particles not normally found in atoms become bound together for a brief period.

Quasi-atoms are generally unstable structures, either because they are subject to matter–antimatter annihilation (positronium), or because one or more of their constituents is unstable (muonium).
