Reseda

Genus of 55 annual plants of the family Resedaceae, found in Britain, Europe, and around the Mediterranean. The garden mignonette R. odorata is cultivated for its sweet-scented flowers, which are popular with bees and butterflies. The essential oil is extracted for use in perfumery.
