The interior of the medieval church of St Protus and St Hyacinth at Blisland, on the edge of Bodmin Moor in Cornwall. The former poet laureate, Sir John Betjeman (1906-1984), wrote admiringly of this church. Its carved-wood rood screen has recently been restored.

Alternative name for the cross of Christ, often applied to the large crucifix placed on a beam or screen at the entrance to the chancel of a church.
