Rouge

River of southeast Michigan; length 95 km/60 mi. It rises in Oakland County, and flows 50 km/31 mi south and east through Dearborn and Detroit to the Detroit River at River Rouge City. The River Rouge Ford motor plant, with steelworks, is on its banks in Dearborn.
