In computing, set of complementary programs which can be bought separately, or (at a considerable saving) as a bundled package. Office suites are an especially common form of software suite.

Examples include: Adobe's graphics software which includes Photoshop (for processing photographs), Pagemaker (for page layout), and Illustrator (for creating illustrations); and Macromedia's multimedia software, which comprises Director (for creating presentations), xRes2 (for editing images), SoundEdit (for editing sound), and Extreme 3D (for 3D modelling and animation).
