Village in East Ayrshire unitary authority, Scotland, situated on the north bank of the River Ayr, 6 km/4 mi east of Mauchline. Sorn Castle stands within the settlement.

Georgia Rowe, 14, was laid to rest in the tiny community of Sorn in Ayrshire where she was brought up.
Around 300 attended the funeral for14-year-old Georgia at Sorn Parish Church in Ayrshire, where she was raised.
