squirrel monkey

Small, tree-dwelling New World monkey that eats mainly fruit, with some insects. They have long, non-prehensile tails and live in groups of as many as 200 individuals.

Classification

Squirrel monkeys are in genus Saimiri family Cebidae, order Primates.
