suit

Two- or three-piece outfit consisting of a jacket and trousers of the same material, sometimes accompanied by a waistcoat, or, for women, a jacket and skirt. Suits are used for formal occasions or as professional/executive working clothes, although more casually styled suits have been made popular by designers such as Giorgio Armani and Gianni Versace.
