Opera by Gluck (libretto by Metastasio), produced at the Teatro Comunale, Bologna, on 14 May 1763. Also settings by Hasse (Vienna, 1762) and Jommelli (Lisbon, 1774). The story concerns the Roman noblewoman Clelia, who is captured by the Etruscan king but saves her city with her courage and nobility.

Opera by Jommelli (libretto ditto), produced at the Teatro d'Ajuda, Lisbon, on 6 June 1774.
