In electronics, a diagram showing the effect of a particular logic gate on every combination of inputs.

Every possible combination of inputs and outputs for a particular gate or combination of gates is described, thereby defining their action in full. When logic value 1 is written in the table, it indicates a ‘high’ (or ‘yes’) input of perhaps 5 volts; logic value 0 indicates a ‘low’ (or ‘no’) input of 0 volts.
