win-lose approach

    0.09 sec.

win-lose approach

Approach to conflict and negotiation that views the opponent as an adversary that must be defeated. A person who subscribes to the adversarial approach will see any negotiation in terms of victory and defeat; in order for them to win their opponent must lose. They will treat negotiations as zero-sum games. They will not see cooperation as a possible path to a win-win situation.
