Trojan| In computing, a program that looks as though it will do something entertaining or useful but actually does something unhelpful, such as reformatting the user's hard disk. Trojans are named after the Trojan horse in Greek mythology. A virus is not a Trojan, but inserting a virus into another program – such as virus checker – would make that program a Trojan. |
