wrackAny of the large brown seaweeds characteristic of rocky shores. The bladder wrack F. vesiculosus has narrow, branched fronds up to 1 m/3.3 ft long, with oval air bladders, usually in pairs on either side of the midrib or central vein. (Genus Fucus.)
